Included Changes

EIP-145: Bitwise Shifting Instructions

Adds native bitwise shift operations (SHL, SHR, SAR) to the EVM, reducing gas costs for bit manipulation.

EIP-1014: CREATE2

Introduces a new opcode for deploying contracts at predictable addresses, enabling state channels and other advanced patterns.

EIP-1052: EXTCODEHASH

Adds an opcode to get the hash of a contract's code, useful for verifying contract identity efficiently.

EIP-1283 Removal

The potentially problematic EIP-1283 (SSTORE gas changes) was not included, following Ethereum's lead with Petersburg.

Smooth Activation

The Agharta upgrade activated without issues, demonstrating the ETC community's ability to coordinate complex network upgrades.
